It is a Yukimi Daifuku.

Many Japanese people love it and it is a kind of bestseller ice cream.

What is Yukimi Daifuku?

Yukimi Daifuku is a vanilla ice cream covered by mochi.

It is produced by LOTTE which is a Japanese confectionery company.

Since it was released in 1981, it is really popular among all ages of Japanese people.

How is the taste

The combination of vanilla ice cream and mochi is perfect.

First, the vanilla ice cream is a rich milk taste, but it’s not too sugary.

I think it contains a high overrun*. That’s why it can be express that taste.

The reason is the company doesn’t use simple mochi. They use gyuuhi which is normally used by daifuku and some Japanese traditional food.

So, I think Yukimi Daifuku is a new style of daifuku. And, the taste of it is really good.

It is sold in convenience stores and supermarkets.

In the convenience stores, it is 140 yen. 

I think it is easy to find, but it’s a little bit expensive.

So, if you have a chance to go to supermarkets, you should go there.

Because it is sold around 80 yen.

In Japan, it’s ok to buy one ice cream only.
